UNLISTED
Aranea Aranea sp.
Classification
Genopool Industries lists no endemic trait code for Aranea. The omission is on record; the reason is not.
Aranea carries a bias toward the recessive tripod allele: a reservoir of LMB=3, not a guarantee of it. A tripod expresses only when both parents carry the allele, so a genuine three-legged specimen stays rare, and rare stays valuable. Umbra is simply where it is least rare.
Field behaviour
Three points of contact, spaced wide. Where a four-legged build wobbles on broken ground, the tripod holds a line through mist and root. The advantage is entirely in the morphology: nothing is triggered, nothing is bought. What you scan is what it does.
Filed under the Black Greenhouses, Sector 06. The corporation classifies the tripod as a morphological anomaly. Veterinarian Q classifies it as a favourite. Only one of those is official.
