Classification

DRY-CLING. Claw feet, stiff joints, maximum traction. Gekko is not a source of rarity: it is a specialist, and its speciality is staying upright where nothing else can.

Field behaviour

On Glacius, the lake the Cryo Pylon holds permanently frozen, Gekko rules. Its claws bite ice that sends sprinters sliding into the rail. Off ice, it is ordinary. That one hour a day when Glacius comes up on the seed is when a Gekko proves its worth, and why niche specimens hold their value.
